When do I need to submit my availability?
All umpires are required to complete their availability to umpire during the season using Official HQ. Official HQ is a website which allows umpires to manage their availability and appointments and assists Associations with the administration of their umpires.Availabilities are to be completed on a monthly basis and need to be entered on time to ensure appointment to matches. Instructions on how to enter availability is provided further below.Availabilities for this season are due no later than the following dates:October availability due on 11 September 2026November availability due on 9 October 2026December availability due on 13 November 2026January availability due on 11 December 2026February availability due on 8 January 2027March availability due on 12 February 2027
When and how do I receive my match appointments?
All umpires are appointed to matches using PlayHQ. It is an umpire’s responsibility to ensure they check PlayHQ and are aware of which matches they are appointed to.On Wednesday afternoon at the beginning of each round of matches umpires are notified of their appointments via email and/or SMS. These appointments can change and should always be double checked.Additional information on how to view the matches an umpire is appointed to, is provided below
